Starting Your Own Congregation?
& Looking for a
Church Space
We understand that many congregations as they’re starting new chapters in new areas need a bridge or a temporary space to host in between finding footing and gaining enough donations to lease their own permanent location. Lets host your congregation at White Vine Venue as you grow.
A Church Space That Grows With Your Congregation
Starting a congregation is one of the most meaningful things a person can do. You have the vision, the calling, and the people. What you need right now is a space that meets you where you are, without the long-term financial commitment of a permanent lease or the limitations of a sanctuary that doesn't quite fit your group yet.
White Vine Venue offers a church space that works as a true bridge. A place where your congregation can gather every week, build community, and grow in faith while you lay the groundwork for what comes next. We have hosted groups, small gatherings, and weekly meetings for organizations in various stages of development, and we understand what it means to be in that transitional chapter.

Why Congregations Choose White Vine Venue
There are plenty of event spaces in the Washington DC area, but very few understand the specific needs of a growing congregation. You are not hosting a one-time party. You need a consistent, welcoming space where members feel at home week after week, where children feel safe, and where your mission can be expressed freely.
Our space is flexible, bright, and designed to accommodate a range of uses. Whether your weekly gathering is 20 people or pushes toward 120, the layout adapts to fit your congregation's intended use.
A Fellowship Hall Without the Fellowship Hall Price Tag
When pastors and ministry leaders think about renting a fellowship hall, they often imagine long wait lists, inflexible policies, or spaces that come loaded with permanent religious symbols that don't represent their congregation's tradition. We are none of that.
White Vine Venue is a clean, neutral space. There are no competing religious symbols on the walls, no restrictions on how you decorate or arrange the room, and no pressure to conform to someone else's aesthetic. This is your fellowship hall while you're here.
Flexible Rental Options Built Around Your Schedule
One of the biggest concerns for growing congregations is whether a venue can accommodate their recurring schedule without interference from previous commitments or conflicting events. We structure our rental agreements with that in mind.
Weekly and recurring rentals are welcome. Whether your congregation meets on Sunday mornings, Friday evenings, or multiple times throughout the week, we work with you to hold your preferred dates consistently. You will not have to rebook from scratch every few weeks or worry about losing your time slot to another event.

What Makes Community Hall Different
Most event spaces in the area were not designed with a church or congregation in mind. They are built for celebrations and corporate meetings, and the intended use shows. The layouts, the rules, and the booking processes reflect that.
White Vine Venue approaches things differently. We have hosted faith-based organizations and understand that what you need from a church space is not just a room but a mutually supportive environment where your mission and your members come first. We are flexible, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping congregations like yours get established. We have space for a conference room and can break down into smaller meeting spaces and community events. There is street parking and it’s in a perfect location not far from downtown Washington.

A Space That Handles More Than Sunday Service
Many congregations do more than gather on Sundays. Mid-week Bible study, children's ministry sessions, board meetings, workshops, small group meetings, and community outreach events are all part of building a church from the ground up.
White Vine Venue can accommodate all of those activities. The space is large enough for your full congregation on a Sunday and intimate enough for a small group of 40 people meeting on a Tuesday evening. You can use the same space in different configurations depending on what your week requires.
A Space That Respects Your Congregation's Tradition
Whether your congregation practices an expressive, high-energy form of worship or gathers in quiet and contemplative study, this space does not impose a particular tradition on your community. You bring your mission, your members, and your message. We provide the room.
We do not require specific religious affiliations to rent space, and we welcome faith-based organizations from all backgrounds. Non-members of the surrounding community are welcome to attend your services. This is a space built on the idea that people gathering with purpose deserve a room that rises to meet that purpose.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can we hold weekly services at White Vine Venue?
Yes. We welcome recurring bookings and work with congregations to hold consistent weekly time slots. Sunday morning, Friday evening, or midweek services can all be scheduled on a recurring basis, subject to availability.
Is there room for a stage or podium setup?
Yes. The floor plan is open and flexible. You can arrange the space with a stage at the front, rows of chairs, a central podium, or any configuration that fits your congregation's style of worship. The wall space is clear for banners or projected displays.
What is the capacity of the space?
White Vine Venue accommodates up to 120 people. This makes it an ideal church space for congregations in the early to mid stages of growth. For smaller meetings or study groups, the space works well for 40 people or fewer in a more intimate setup.
Can we use the space for more than one event per week?
Yes. Many organizations use the space for multiple purposes throughout the week, including Sunday services, mid-week Bible study, children's ministry, and board meetings. We can discuss a recurring rental structure that fits your congregation's full schedule.
Is the space wheelchair accessible?
Yes. White Vine Venue is accessible, with a ramp entry and accessible bathrooms. All individuals attending your services should be able to move through the space comfortably.
Do we need to bring our own chairs and tables?
No. Tables and chairs are included with your rental. We have 100 crystal Chiavari chairs, 10 round tables, 4 rectangular tables, and 5 cocktail tables available for your use.
What does the booking process look like?
Submit an inquiry through the form on this page or contact us directly. We will review your request and respond to confirm availability and share rental information. We ask for a few weeks notice when possible and a security deposit to hold your date.
Are there other faith-based organizations currently using the space?
We welcome organizations from all backgrounds. Please reach out directly for more information about current availability and how we can structure a recurring arrangement that works for your congregation.
